Little Welsh Wood – A Woodland Glamping Retreat in Pembrokeshire
Experience a Glamping Dome in Nature on the Pembrokeshire Coast
Nestled in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Little Welsh Wood offers a magical escape surrounded by natural beauty. Just minutes from the scenic coast path, guests can explore sandy beaches at St Brides Bay, visit the wildlife-rich Skomer Island, or discover the quiet charm of the Daugleddau estuary. Whether you’re craving sea air or countryside calm, this destination delivers both.
A Glamping Dome That Welcomes All Seasons
To enhance their woodland retreat, the team at Little Welsh Wood worked with TruDomes to install a 6-metre Sand Classic Dome. Spacious and stylish, it sleeps up to six guests and includes room to dine and relax. Thanks to its full insulation kit, the dome offers a warm, welcoming stay — all year round.
A Space That Grows With the Land
The glampsite sits on land that once formed part of a working dairy farm. An old cowshed, a silage yard, and a neighbouring woodland have been lovingly transformed into a peaceful, off-grid space. Meanwhile, the rest of the farm now grows vegetables, supports grazing livestock, and offers a home to retired horses and ponies.
Importantly, this transformation isn’t just about tourism. Every visitor helps fund biodiversity projects across the farm. From planting new mixed woodlands and hedgerows to digging wildlife ponds, the team is committed to giving back to the land.
Sustainable Stays That Make a Difference
Little Welsh Wood offers more than just a relaxing break. It’s a chance to reconnect with nature in a place where sustainability and comfort go hand in hand. Guests can enjoy birdwatching, peaceful walks, or simply unwind in the tranquil woodland setting — all while supporting an eco-friendly mission.
If you’re looking for a unique Pembrokeshire escape that puts nature first, this woodland dome retreat is the perfect choice.
