Little Welsh Wood is a haven for adults and families longing to embrace the simple pleasures of woodland camping. Delight in leisurely walks amidst nature’s wonders, indulge in bird-watching, or simply find solace in the serene ambience of our campsite, allowing yourself to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We worked with Little Welsh Wood to create a fantastic geodome offering for their clients with our 6m dome in sand which has space for dining and relaxing, it can sleep up to six people and with the benefit of an insulation kit is open year-round.
Our campsite is thoughtfully situated on land that was once part of a dairy farm. Here, we have repurposed an old cowshed, silage yard, and the adjacent small woodland to create a cosy and intimate retreat. This dedicated area is entirely separate from the rest of the farm, which now thrives with vegetable cultivation and grazing livestock, while also providing a peaceful retirement home for our cherished old horses and ponies.
By opening our little wood to visitors, we aim to generate funds for enhancing the farm’s biodiversity. Through the creation of new mixed woodlands, hedgerows, and ponds, we strive to give back to the land that sustains us. Throughout our development, we have made conscious efforts to prioritize eco-conscious practices, ensuring that we can offer our guests creature comforts while remaining sustainable and sympathetic to the environment we cherish.
