Sustainable Glamping domes at Waites Farm with TruDomes

Introduction

Waites Farm is a perfect example of sustainable glamping dome business. Lloyd and Carol Hicks, the couple behind this project, wanted an eco-friendly alternative to traditional glamping structures. After exploring various options, they chose TruDomes. Our domes offer fully recyclable aluminum frames and exceptional durability. This not only reduces waste but also keeps maintenance to a minimum.

Finding the Ideal Location

Lloyd and Carol were eager to escape the stress of suburban life. They found the perfect retreat on a peaceful farm in Lincolnshire. To simplify the planning process, they joined the Greener Camping Club. Since 2015, this organization has supported glamping businesses that prioritize environmentally friendly practices. As a result, Waites Farm easily gained certification. Their site, located on over an acre of sheltered land, became an ideal spot for nature lovers.

Blending Nature with Modern Comfort

To create a cozy and inviting space, Lloyd and Carol thoughtfully decorated the dome’s interior. They used natural wood for warmth and added industrial lighting for a modern touch. This careful blend of rustic charm and contemporary style enhances the glamping experience for guests.

Partnering with TruDomes

When Lloyd and Carol connected with TruDomes, we were excited to collaborate. Our domes provided the perfect balance of sustainability, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This partnership helped them build a unique glamping space where guests can enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort.
