Preparations for the UK’s only luxury glamping show have begun, and the road ahead is beginning to look clearer at last in response to Boris’ roadmap to normality. It’s no secret that at TruDomes, we love The Glamping Show, and with so many years in attendance you could say we’re somewhat veterans of the yearly show.
The Glamping Show 2020 was one of the few business exhibitions to take place last year and the show itself was a huge success – organisers, exhibitors and visitors worked hard to exhibit safely throughout the duration of the show. 2021 is set to be a fantastic event, with many businesses and visitors registering attendance. Already, The Glamping Show stand bookings are soaring, with a record level of bookings and interest this year.
2021 promises to be a tremendous year for UK tourism; staycations are at an all-time high and if 2020 has taught us something in the travel and tourism sector, it’s that the UK has a wealth of culture and stunning scenery to offer to holiday makers and frequent travellers. The future looks bright for glamping and now is the time for many glamping businesses to shine.
For any Glamping Show newbies that are wondering what the big deal is – The Glamping Show is the place to be for anyone interesting in glamping, luxury camping and outdoor accommodation. Anyone who is anyone in the world of glamping in the UK will be at the event, and it is renowned as a unique networking opportunity for manufacturers, suppliers and buyers to meet and greet. Visitors this year will see an even bigger range of businesses and brands exhibiting, with new and old faces to catch up with.
So what can you expect, if you choose to visit The Glamping Show? First of all, similarly to 2020, The Glamping Show organisers will be making a huge effort to ensure the safety of exhibitors and visitors alike, keeping in line with relevant government Covid-19 guidance and advice. Glamping and rural accommodation have seen a huge surge in interest, and as such, The Glamping Show is more important than ever before and should be taken advantage of.
The venue at Stoneleigh allows the show to operate as an outdoor show, in true glamping style, so make sure you dress for the weather when the time comes. Aside from a long list of diverse and interesting glamping and luxury camping related business exhibitors, there will be a seminar programme throughout the day. The seminars allow the perfect opportunity to hear from industry leaders and experts, and it’s a chance to hear about industry news and challenges from people who know their onions!
Some examples of seminars that will be being held this year include “How to launch a glamping business”, “How to harness the power of social media and market your business online”, “Expand your offer and keep customers coming back”, “Travel trends – what are young travellers looking for and how to position your business for future success” and much more. Like 2020, seminars will be presented online to ensure that the safety of guests is a priority. They will also be available to view after the event in case you miss them live!
