Leicester’s City Festival is always a fantastic time for both children and adults, partnering with organisations such as the National Space Centre to help celebrate the city’s vibrancy and diversity. This year, we were honoured to have provided the focal point in Jubilee Square – one of our spectacular 18-metre clear event domes.
The team were up bright and early installing the dome before the festival began, and the impressive steel-framed, PVC-covered structure was the perfect place to host the myriad of events that took place over the week both during the day and into the evening.
The clear cover was the perfect choice to offer protection from the elements yet still allow guests to take in the beautiful city and enjoy the sunshine. And at night, while the dome played host to musical acts such as British Sea Power, it offered the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor enjoyment. Not to mention, the dome shape made for excellent acoustics!
We also were pleased to provide a second, smaller dome – our Classic Glamping Dome – to act as an ideal ‘green room’ and backstage area for the various acts to prepare. The two domes were joined at the back of the stage to allow for easy navigation between the different areas and made costume changes, etc. as quick and convenient as possible.
