Location Inspiration – Pant y Rhedyn Guesthouse and Accomodation
The location: After relocating from Kent to start their own smallholding, Pant y Rhedyn now houses a vegetable garden, pigs and chickens alongside their two glamping domes. The property is a stunning old Welsh longhouse surrounded by ancient trees and beautiful gardens – an idyllic spot to get away from the rush of everyday life.
The brief: Wanting to allow guests to enjoy their new simplistic lifestyle, the family were in search of the perfect accommodation to set up in their rear meadow offering uninterrupted views of the welsh countryside. Being able to watch the beautiful sunsets and starry night skies on offer, something with plenty of window space was particularly important along with the need for somewhere cosy to cuddle up on cooler nights.
Our solution: Our classic dome is named for a reason, and we knew right away that it would be the perfect choice for what Pant y Rhedyn needed. A generous 5.8-metre diameter is more than enough to sleep up to four without feeling cramped, while the panoramic window allows for sweeping views of the unbeatable countryside sunsets and star-filled sky.
They chose to purchase two domes for their rear meadow, each with its own log burner and cosy double bed for the perfect romantic evening all year round. Also included in each are two single-seater sofa beds positioned to allow you to watch the stars at night while keeping warm.
